This policy explains what information ColdWatt ("we", "us") collects when you visit coldwattpower.ca, and what we do with it. The site is operated by ColdWatt, based in Alberta, Canada.

The short version

• We don't sell your personal information.
• We don't require an account, and we don't run ads.
• We use privacy-friendly analytics that don't set tracking cookies.
• When you click through to a store, that store (and its affiliate network) may set cookies to credit us for the referral.

Information we collect

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It records aggregated data such as page views, referring sites, general location (country), device type and browser. It does not use cookies or collect information that identifies you personally.

Server and security logs

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. When you click a "Check price" link, your country (derived from your IP address) is used momentarily to send you to the right regional store. We don't store it.

Information you send us

If you email us, we keep your message and email address only as long as needed to reply and keep a record of the conversation.

Affiliate links and third-party cookies

Many links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, you leave our site, and the retailer or affiliate network may place cookies on your device to track that the sale came from us. Their privacy policies — not ours — govern that data. See our affiliate disclosure for more.

Where your information is processed

Our service providers may process data in Canada, the United States or other countries. Those countries' laws may differ from where you live.

Your rights
